The whole catalog, moved
Every product, category, and image came across to Shopify. Around 200 active products, rebuilt and organized, not a rushed export. Retail, nationwide shipping, gifting, and wholesale all in one clean catalog.
Every URL redirected
We mapped each old product and category page to its new home with a 301 redirect. The rankings Striplings spent years earning followed them to Shopify instead of resetting to zero on launch day.
Search equity protected
The move kept their 940,000 monthly search impressions and their top rankings intact. A platform change a shopper would never feel, and a search presence Google never had to relearn.

Their top 15 non-branded search terms average position 7.4 on Google, and 11 of the 15 sit on page one. Not their own name, the real foods people hunt for: hoop cheese at #2, mayhaw jelly at #2, plus sausage links, cajun seasoning, and sorghum molasses. That is the search that brings in new buyers who have never heard of them.

Striplings General Store has been a Georgia institution since 1964. It started as a whole hog country sausage maker in Cordele, and today it is a family general store on the shores of Lake Blackshear, with retail locations in Cordele, Perry, and Bogart and a nationwide following for its smoked meats, sausage, jerky, hoop cheese, and Southern pantry staples.
