Since 1993, YOGC has given young musicians across Georgia and Alabama a place to play at the highest level. We were glad to build them a website worthy of it.
What we built
A new website, and a domain move nobody noticed
YOGC's site had been on Wix, and the pages a parent actually needs, auditions, concerts and programs, were buried. We designed and built a new seven-page site organised around those questions first.
The riskier half was invisible. Their staff email runs on Google Workspace at the same domain as the website, and a domain move is exactly the moment that breaks. We planned the cutover around the mail records first and the website second. The site went live and not one message bounced.

Every photograph on their site is theirs. The client flagged an earlier image as looking AI generated because she did not recognise the students in it, and she was right to. We replaced it with a real photograph of their own orchestra.
